Resident Assistant PAID CNA TRAINING
EverGreen Rehab and Nursing - Now hiring full time Resident Assistants.
The purpose of the position is to promote choice, dignity, and expedient service by assisting in the performance of duties and other tasks that enhance the quality of life for residents.
This position has responsibility for service to residents in a manner that promotes their safety and comfort and maintains good housekeeping standards within duty areas.
Hours for this position is 7am-3pm or 11am-7pm Monday - Friday and every other weekend.
Those that prove to be stellar Resident Assistants and pass a background check, which may include getting your finger prints done, will be asked to be a part of our CNA class where we will train you and you will test for your certification at no cost to you.
At the time of successful completion of the CNA class you will then work within Evergreen in the capacity of a CNA.
Resident Assistant Duties:
o Makes rounds on the unit looking for items needing attention; o Straighten utility rooms, linen rooms and pantry as needed; o Assist with meal service.
Successfully completes Paid Feeding Assistant Program and works under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to feed or assist residents who do not have complicated feeding problems; o Deliver mail to residents; opening and reading mail to the resident as requested by the resident; o Make beds and tidy rooms; o Pass clean linen; o Assure ice water is available on the units; o Prepares rooms for new admissions; o Makes inventory of resident's personal possessions and sends items to personal laundry to be labeled.
