Prepare and set-up breakfast items Greet and acknowledge guests as they arrive.
Must be able to initiate and engage in conversation with guests.
Bus and clear tables, straighten chairs and properly arrange the furniture.
Brew fresh coffee as needed.
Restock drink and food items and other supplies (ex.
Plastic ware, napkins, cups, etc.
) Maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area, keeping it orderly Wiping up spills.
Empty trash receptacles Thank guests as they depart Clean all equipment and breakfast/kitchen areas Sweeps and mops dining /kitchen area Properly store all unused drink, food items and supplies in accordance with health codes Inspects storage areas, fridges, and freezers for inventory counts Follow hotel operational procedures to ensure orders are placed for items that are below par levels Receive supplies, date and rotate stock Contributes to guest satisfaction by attending to breakfast bar guest needs.
Acquires a working knowledge of hotel, in house facilities, and local information to respond to guest questions in these areas as required.
Informs manager of any guest dissatisfaction.
Ensures the property consistently maintains a clean, hospitable and professional environment.
Adheres to Hotel's standards of operations Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
Maintains safe and secure environment for guests and associates.
Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to the guest.
Follows hotel's grooming and dress standards and wear the proper uniform at all times.
Attends work on time as scheduled.
Courteously and promptly responds to guests' requests General Job Performance Requirements Associate is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job.
