Responsibilities:
1Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of transactional and business law matters, including contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and regulatory compliance.2Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts and agreements, such as commercial contracts, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor contracts, to protect the interests of clients.3Assist clients in establishing, maintaining, and managing corporate entities, including advising on corporate structure, governance issues, and board meetings.4Represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions, conducting due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and negotiating terms and conditions.5Ensure that clients comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations relevant to their business operations, including industry-specific regulations.6Provide guidance on intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright registration, protection, and licensing.7Assist clients in selecting and forming appropriate business entities (e.g., LLCs, corporations), as well as advising on initial capitalization and tax implications.8Handle business disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation when necessary, and represent clients in court when disputes cannot be resolved amicably.9Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business objectives and providing timely and effective legal solutions.10Stay up-to-date with changes in business and transactional law, conduct legal research, and provide clients with informed advice.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.3

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
